We are delighted to announce that Đậu Homemade’s Water Puppet Theater will officially host regular performances every Saturday evening.

Time: 7:30 PM every Saturday

This non-profit performance is brought to life by Đậu Homemade’s very own puppet artists. More than a show, it is our heartfelt effort to bring one of Vietnam’s most treasured traditional art forms closer to our guests and audiences.

Through each performance, we hope to preserve, celebrate, and share the beauty of Vietnamese cultural heritage, ensuring that these precious traditions continue to thrive and reach friends from around the world.

In the hands of talented artists, the puppets come alive. Hidden behind the curtain, the puppeteers breathe life into each character as they glide across the water to the rhythm of cheerful music. From the witty Uncle Tễu and traditional boat races to fairy dances, dragons, and phoenixes, each performance celebrates the rich spirit of Vietnamese folk culture.

To delight younger audiences, Đậu Homemade also introduces creative modern stories, blending tradition with imagination to create a unique and memorable water puppet experience.

In addition to the weekly Saturday performances, the Water Puppet Theater will also present special shows during major holidays and festivals, as well as for pre-booked groups of 20 guests or more.
